FROME 7'S

Rugby Unions short form, Sevens returns to Frome this June for its eighth instalment, building on last year's event that saw 52 teams battling it out and enjoying the festival atmosphere at what has become the biggest annual sevens event in the region.

Once again we will have camping available from Friday to Sunday with the usual Bars, Pimms Tents and hospitality.

RUGBY

This year we will again be changing the format again! We have decided to split the ladies tournament into an Open and a Social Comp both with 8 teams and with a full Cup, Plate and Bowl level system to ensure there is plenty to play for and plenty of teams to play for it!

The men’s side of things will stay in the Open, Social and Super Social, due to a few last-minute dropouts we will be introducing a rule as to your place is not secured until you have paid your entry fee.

The Mens Open and Ladies Open are also local qualifiers for the Secure Trading Sevens Series

ENTERTAINMENT

Karaoke for all of the teams camping on the Friday night will be held in the clubhouse, and live music acts following Saturday's rugby will have you drinking and dancing into the early hours before retiring to your tents!

VENUE

With one of the best Clubhouses in the region boasting sixteen changing rooms, five pitches, three bars, hospitality tents, and a huge balcony overlooking the main pitch so you won't miss any of the action.

You could not ask for a better suited location for Sevens Rugby.

CAMPING

Why not make a weekend of it? Frome 7's offers free camping for all so want to come down have a few beers and a good time without having to worry about transport, not a problem! Camping is available for the whole weekend from Friday to Monday free of charge.
